Issaquah Highland’s monthly eco-market to be hosted on March 5

Special features for March’s eco-market include a student art quilt exhibition.

On March 5 an eco-market will take place at Blakely Hall—located at 2550 NE Park Drive—where small eco-friendly vendors, farmers, and artisans will showcase products, and where attendees can learn about sustainable living.

Special features for March’s eco-market include a Grand Ridge Elementary collaborative student art quilt exhibition, which is a school-wide paper quilt made up of multi-layered paper art. Additional special features consist of a puzzle swap, free reusable shopping bags (while supplies last), and freshly made crepes from L’Experience Paris.

Confirmed vendors of the event are Keepers Collective, which provides skincare made purely from honeybees and in small batches; McCormick Jam Co, whose jams are sweetened with local honey and organic raw sugar; PNW EcoCRAFT, which creates artwork made from reclaimed wood and other items saved from landfills; HER Kitchen, which provides vegan and gluten-free treats; and Kate’s Magnets, with handmade and upcycled bottle cap magnets.

The event will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m on March 5.
