Issaquah man charged of molesting teen

An Issaquah man has been charged with child molestation after allegedly "hooking up" with a 15-year-old Issaquah boy through a Craigslist posting.

Police allege a Issaquah man molested a 15-year-old Issaquah boy after the two “hooked up” through a Craigslist posting.

Eric N. Victorson, 38, was charged with third-degree child molestation. His bail was set at $250,000, because he was convicted of child molestation in 1998.

Police discovered Victorson and the boy, after a routine traffic stop in Redmond lead to a DUI arrest June 2.

When police questioned the teen, he told them his parents didn’t know where he was and that he met Victorson through a Craiglist ad the teen had posted that night, according to the charging papers.

The boy wrote in the post that he had never been with a man before, and that he was 18-years old.

Police also discovered several pornographic images and texts sent back and forth between the teen’s and Victorson’s cell phones.

The two allegedly hooked up in Redmond, where the boy said they groped each other in Victorson’s car, before being kicked out of the area by a neighbor, according to charging papers.

The two allegedly agreed to go to the boy’s Issaquah home, when an officer discovered them.

Police allege Victorson should have suspected the boy wasn’t 18, and that he made little attempt to figure out the boy’s true age, according to the papers.

The boy told Victorson that he was unable to drive, and that he’d be free once he could “sneak out” of his parent’s home, according to the documents.

Victorson has been charged with third-degree child molestation for the June 2 incident. His arraignment is set for June 20.
