Adrianne Haslet-Davis, 32, a 1998 graduate of Issaquah High School, was honored on Tuesday’s result show on “Dancing With the Stars.”

Haslet-Davis, a professional ballroom dancer, lost her left foot in the bomb blast at the Boston Marathon, as she and her husband, Adam Davis, were watching the race. Her leg was amputated from the knee down. Davis suffered shrapnel wounds.

Her story has been very inspirational, as she is determined to dance again, and possibly run in the marathon next year.

In regard to her passion for dance, Haslet-Davis told The Boston Herald, “When I’m dancing, I don’t feel the need to be doing anything else. My joy is complete.”

The show hopes to have her back in person to dance, when she is rehabilitated.
