Road rage, burglary report, vehicle prowls, theft cases, domestic violence, assault arrest

Road rage

Police responded to a case of road rage Oct. 24 in the 1800 block of 10th Avenue Northwest. The driver of the vehicle reported that another driver had flipped him off and made “other gestures.” Police were unable to contact the driver before he left the city.

Burglary report

According to a police report filed on the morning of Oct. 25, $54,000 worth of jewelry was stolen from the 22500 block of Southeast 56th Street.

Vehicle prowls

• The windows of a 2001 silver Honda Civic parked in the 4300 block of West Lake Sammamish Parkway were smashed, and the door was damaged, according to a report filed on the morning of Oct. 25. The damage is estimated between $300 and $500.

• The windows and dashboard were damaged, and an iPod was stolen from a 2001 Honda Civic between 2 and 6 p.m. on Oct. 28 at the Trader Joe’s at 1495 11th Ave. Northwest.

Theft cases

• A 50-year-old Burien man was arrested Oct. 24 at Safeway, 735 N.W. Gilman Blvd., on suspicion of stealing beer, valued at $1.73.

• Cash totaling $120 was reported stolen from a purse Oct. 26 on the 700 block of 17th Ave. Northwest.

• A GPS unit was reported stolen from the Kentucky Fried Chicken at 555 N.W. Gilman Blvd. in the afternoon of Oct. 28.

Domestic violence

Three officers responded to a report of domestic violence on the evening of Oct. 28 in the 1900 block of 18th Avenue Northeast. A 50-year-old Issaquah man was arrested on suspicion of fourth-degree assault at the scene.

Assault arrest

Six officers responded to a report of assault the night of Oct. 28 in the 1500 block of Northwest Gilman Boulevard, where a 22-year-old Fall City man was arrested on suspicion of assault, obstructing officers and harassment.
