Issaquah police report

On Aug. 7 a caller reported to police that a group of younger kids, between the ages of 10 and 12-years-old had been rung his doorbell the night before after 11 p.m. and then someone threw eggs at his front porch. There was no damage, but the caller wanted the incident documented.

On Aug. 7 on 184th Ave SE and W. Lake Sammamish Parkway a caller reported a burned picnic table. The estimated total damage was $1,746.

On Aug. 8 at 10:48 p.m. police contacted 60 to 70 juveniles at Clark Elementary who were getting ready to play Fugitive.

On Aug. 8 Issaquah police received an anonymous call concerning a 4-year-old boy who was riding a bike on SE Clark Street. The caller was worried the boy was locked out of his house. Police found the boy, still riding his bike near his home, where his parents were inside watching him.

On Aug. 8 at 1:55 p.m. a theft was reported on SE Andrews Street, after a camera, stereo, iPod gear and a volt meter were stolen. The estimated loss was $1,000.

On Aug. 8 at 8:50 p.m. police were contacted about a man carrying an unconcealed and holstered gun at Fat Burger. There was no report of any threat or action which made the activity illegal. The subject left prior to police arrival and the reporting party was contacted by police and told the activity was not illegal.

On Aug. 8 at 10:02 p.m. Issaquah police received a complaint about noise at Time Out located on Front Street. Police arrived and asked the management to keep the back door completely shut to keep the noise down.

On Aug. 9 a theft was reported at Front Street Market. The caller reported a woman stole food and alcohol, totaling $30.38. A 60-year-old female from SeaTac was arrested.

On Aug. 10 at 12:13 p.m. a caller reported to police several juvenile males were painting the sidewalk and driveway area near a dumpster in the 300 block of NW Dogwood Street. Police contacted the subjects and found it was not paint, but powder from a carpet freshener can. They were told to clean up the mess.

On Aug. 10 at 7:09 p.m. Issaquah police assisted Eastside Fire and Rescue investigating the sounds of an explosion at Radio Shack on NW Gilman Blvd. It was found that a fire extinguisher on the wall and blown a connector, making a loud bang and expelled the fire extinguisher’s contents. There were no injuries and it was not known what cause the incident.
