Issaquah police report

A few highlights from the Issaquah Police blotter over the last week.

On Aug. 15 at 10:29 p.m. a Issaquah Police officer was waved down by two male subjects who were looking for a ride from the AM/PM on NW Sammamish Road to Sammamish Bluff Condos. The officer agreed and after patting the subjects down for the officer’s safety transported them to their location.

On Aug. 16 a burglary was reported in the 1000 block of Idylwood Drive SW, where it was reported CD’s, a jacket, helmet, GPS, backpack, mineral water, blackjack and three to four bottles of champagne had been stolen. Total loss was estimated at $1,200.

On Aug. 16 a burglary was reported in the 1700 block of 19th Avenue NW, where citizens reported batteries, plastic bags and pens were stolen. The estimated loss was $900.

On Aug. 16 at 12:40 p.m. IPD assisted Eastside Fire and Rescue with a vehicle on fire in the 1800 block of 12th Avenue NW. The reporting party was on the scene and EFR said there was nothing suspicious about the fire. There were no injuries and no other property damage.

On Aug. 16 IPD helped Lake Sammamish Park Rangers find a lost 2-year-old. The child was found by a citizen in the park after about 20 minutes. The child had wandered among another group at the park and was reunited with the child’s parents.
