Issaquah, Sammamish students make Oregon State University honor roll

There were more than 1,000 student who earned a 4.0 grade point average and nearly another 4,000 who earned a 3.5 grade point average or better, including a few students from Issaquah and Sammamish.

Oregon State University announced the students who made the Scholastic Honor Roll for fall term Wednesday. There were more than 1,000 student who earned a 4.0 grade point average and nearly another 4,000 who earned a 3.5 grade point average or better, including a few students from Issaquah and Sammamish.

Emily Winterstein, of Issaquah, earned a 4.0 grade point average as a freshman majoring in biochemistry and biophysics.

Lindsay Coutts, of Issaquah, earned a 3.5 grade point average as a junior majoring in university exploratory studies. Sarah Jacobi, of Issaquah, also earned a 3.5 grade point average as a senior in exercise and sport science.

From Sammamish, Emma Fraley, a sophomore in pre-mechanical engineering, earned a 4.0 grade point average.

Caleb Clearman, a junior in digital communication arts; Chris Dallas, a senior in animal science; Avalon Dunbar, a senior in psychology; Bryce Escobar, a freshman in pre-bioengineering; Alexander Hawkinson, a sophomore in pre-mechanical engineering; Briana Klee, a freshman in psychology; Nadia Mccloskey, a freshman in nutrition; and Reilly McClung, a senior in forest engineering all earned a 3.5 grade point average or better. All are from Sammamish.

To qualify for honor roll, students must be enrolled for at least 12 hours of course work.
