Issaquah School District seeks applicants for vacated seat

The Issaquah School Board is seeking a replacement member after Chad Magendanz resigned from his position representing Director District 4, which spans the majority of the Issaquah downtown corridor, the Issaquah Highlands, Preston, Mirrormont, Tiger Mountain, and the District’s southeast corner.

The Issaquah School Board is seeking a replacement member after Chad Magendanz resigned from his position representing Director District 4, which spans the majority of the Issaquah downtown corridor, the Issaquah Highlands, Preston, Mirrormont, Tiger Mountain, and the District’s southeast corner.

The new member will serve the remainder of Magendanz’s term, through November 2013. All voting-aged residents of Director District 4 are invited to apply for the position. Prospective candidates can use the online Director District map to initially determine whether they live in Director District 4. Candidates must confirm residency in Director District 4 on the larger, clearer wall map at the Administration Building.

Pending official board action to set the dates, candidate interviews have tentatively been scheduled for 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 6; second-level interviews, if necessary, are tentatively scheduled for Wednesday, March 20.
