The city of Issaquah will lower its flags to half-staff Saturday to recognized the recent death of Washington State University president Elson Floyd.

The city of Issaquah will lower its flags to half-staff Saturday to recognized the recent death of Washington State University president Elson Floyd.

Floyd died June 20 at the age of 59 from complications related to his colon cancer.

The flags will remain at half staff until sunset June 27 or the morning of June 29, according to a release from the city.
