Issaquah woman crashes into fellow motorist on SR 900 – drugs or alcohol suspected

Police suspect that a 25 year-old Issaquah woman was under the influence of drugs or alcohol when the vehicle she was driving crashed into another vehicle on State Route 900 south of Issaquah late on Saturday night.

A press report issued by Washington State Patrol alleges that the Issaquah woman was traveling east on SR 900 when her black 2003 model Ford Focus struck the victim’s green Ford “at high rate from behind,” causing the victim’s car to leave the roadway and crash into a ditch, before rolling onto the roadway and landing on its roof.

The victim, a 35 year-old Newcastle man, was transported to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.

The incident is being investigated.
