The latest figures from the state Office of Financial Management shows Issaquah grew 2.33 percent between 2013 and 2014.

Citywide, Issaquah has 14,915 housing units – up from 14,684 units in 2013 – according to the state estimate.

The information, released June 30, shows increases in King County and statewide populations as well.

King County’s estimated 2014 population is 2,017,250, up from 1,981,900 last year.

Washington’s population increased considerably in the past year. The office estimates the state’s population increased by 85,800 to 6,968,200. The 1.25 percent gain, up from 0.95 percent in 2013, marks the largest one-year increase since 2008.
