It rained eggs during egg drop competition at Sammamish Christian

The whole school and many family members turned out on March 24 for Sammamish Christian School egg drop contest. Students from kindergarten through fifth grade, designed containers in an effort to keep their eggs intact after a 15-foot fall. Students in grades three through five also had the challenge of engineering a contraption where the egg was visible.

The whole school and many family members turned out on March 24 for Sammamish Christian School egg drop contest. Students from kindergarten through fifth grade, designed containers in an effort to keep their eggs intact after a 15-foot fall. Students in grades three through five also had the challenge of engineering a contraption where the egg was visible.

As the competition got underway, and the eggs started dropping, kids cheered and chanted for their competitors. Many of the eggs made it, although some did not survive the second-story drop.
