Job skills fair to help youth get first jobs Nov. 12

Finding that first job can be scary and challenging, but help is on the way.

Finding that first job can be scary and challenging, but help is on the way.

For job seekers ages 16 to 24, the Youth Job Skills Fair on November 12 will provide step-by-step information about how to conduct a job search, how to write a resume, how to use social media effectively, how to put your best foot forward during a job interview, and how to keep that job once you’ve landed it.

In addition, participants will meet with a local business leader in a career field of their choice for the “inside story” about how to meet their career goals.

This event is free and lunch will be provided, but registration is required. For more information and registration forms, go to http://isfdn.org/yjsf/.Attendance is limited to 200 participants; early registration is highly recommended.
