King County SWAT teams serve warrants regarding heroin, meth, cocaine trafficking ring

SWAT teams served eight search warrants Friday at 4 a.m. from Tacoma to Seattle and recovered pounds of drugs, several firearms and about $150,000 in cash following an investigation of a “high level” cocaine, heroin and methamphetamine trafficking ring, according to a King County Sheriff’s Office press release.

Officials arrested 10 adults; other suspects, who were not located, are to be referred to the prosecutor’s office for drug, weapon and stolen property charges.

During the raids, detectives recovered body armor, nine vehicles, liquid synthetic heroin, more than a pound of heroin, more than 4 pounds of crystal methamphetamine and the cash.

The case, which originated in Burien in 2015, is ongoing.

King County began investigating the ring in March.
