Kiwanis Club auction in Issaquah to help victims of domestic violence

The Kiwanis Club of Issaquah will hosts its 32nd Annual Auction and Dinner fundraiser from 6 - 9 p.m., this Saturday, April 24 at the Hilton Garden Inn.

The Kiwanis Club of Issaquah will hosts its 32nd Annual Auction and Dinner fundraiser from 6 – 9 p.m., this Saturday, April 24 at the Hilton Garden Inn.

Proceeds from evening will benefit the families in Eastside Domestic Violence Program’s homeless shelters and programs, along with many other local community groups, non-profits and education based programs.

The Eastside Domestic Violence Program is the only domestic violence service provider in East and North King County, and last year served 4,426 victims of abuse and answered 9,290 Crisis Line calls.

Issaquah City Administrator Leon Kos, and Issaquah City Councilmember Fred Butler, will host the event, entertaining attendees and encouraging them to raise their paddles high to bid on numerous unique items and travel packages including a one week, ocean front condo in Mexico, iPod-Touch, 2 Trophy Club passes to the U.S. Senior Open at Sahale Golf Course, fire truck rides, wine packages, one of a kind art, jewelry, and unique experiences.

All are welcome and encouraged to attend.
