The Downtown Issaquah Association will be putting on the lights in celebration of the holidays and to make the downtown bright and merry.

Lights help make the downtown safe, look festive and inviting. Consider donating to this fund. The more lights, the more beautiful and lit up downtown will look.

As a contributor to the Downtown Issaquah Association for lights, you will be able to deduct 75 percent of your donation from your state B&O tax. Other tax benefits may apply. For a $1,000 Donation, receive a $750 Washington State B&O tax credit in 2014; for a $500 Donation, receive a $375 Washington State B&O tax credit in 2014 and for a   $100 Donation, receive a $75 Washington State B&O tax credit in 2014.

Let the association know your commitment by Friday, Nov. 15 so it can purchase enough lights. Payment will need to be made by December 31 to take a 2014 deduction.
