Local company exceeds goal for One Warm Coat drive

Employees from Simply Placed LLC will continue to pick-up gently used clothing for the One Warm Coat drive this week from businesses and civic organizations in the area.

Employees from Simply Placed LLC will continue to pick-up gently used clothing for the One Warm Coat drive this week from businesses and civic organizations in the area.

Contributions to the clothing drive have more than doubled the original goal of 100 coats, set by CEO Debbie Rosemont.

The local campaign was scheduled to coincide with the 10-year anniversary of the Sammamish-based business that teaches companies how to organize systems in order to increase their productivity. Simply Placed has taught companies such as Costco, Microsoft and the Seattle Seahawks.

“This has been an especially cold winter all across the country,” said Rosemont. “We are grateful for the opportunity to help spread a little warm to the people who need our help the most.”

As of Monday, Simply Placed had collected more than 250 articles of winter clothing from businesses throughout Issaquah and the Eastside.

Friday, Dec.20 is the last day of the coat drive. Those wishing to donate can contact Cailin Shovkoplyas at Cailin@itssimplyplaced.com or 206-579-5743 ext. 702.
