Police are looking for a 27-year-old man who went missing from his parents’ Sammamish home over the weekend.

As of Tuesday afternoon, William “Reed” Probus has not been located, according to the King County Sheriff’s Office. Probus had returned to Sammamish Saturday after working overseas for several months.

Probus’ parents found his wallet, phone, shoes and other personal belongings in their Beaver Lake area home Sunday. His parents reported him missing and told officials he was depressed and possibly suicidal, according to county spokesperson Sgt. Cindi West.

“Sunday morning he was gone,” West said. “We’re not expecting foul play.”

Probus is 5 feet 9 inches with brown hair and blue eyes. It is unknown what he was wearing when he left his parents’ Sunday, but he is likely without shoes.

Anyone with information on Probus’ whereabouts can call the King County Sheriff’s Office at 206-296-3311.
