Memorial Day services are set for 10 a.m. Monday, May 25, at Issaquah ’s Hillside Cemetery. The Issaquah’s Veterans of Foreign Wars is sponsoring the event which will feature State Rep. Jay Rodne, R-Snoqualmie, who is a Lt. Col. in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve. Sen. Rodne is a veteran of the Persian Gulf War.

The event will also feature the Liberty High School Junior Naval ROTC, local Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts.

The Scouts will be out in the cemetery at 9 a.m., Saturday, May 23, to decorate the graves.  All are welcome to come and help.

The Cemetery is on West Sunset Way, southwest off Newport Way.
