June 16

AMMO:A citizen turned over various 0.22 caliber ammo to the Sammamish Police Department at 801 228th Ave. SE.

June 17

ARREST:Police stopped a driver in the 25400 block of SE Issaquah-Fall City Road around 9:30 p.m. for driving with defective tail lights. Police eventually arrested the driver for multiple outstanding warrants and driving with a license suspended in the third degree. Police booked the driver into Issaquah Jail.

WORRIED FRIEND: A Bothell resident called police out of concern for a Sammamish friend, who had texted “goodbye” after taking more than the prescribed amount of Prozac. Police responded to the Sammamish residence in the 3200 block of 225th Ave. SE. around 10:45 p.m.

June 18

LARCENY: A resident in the 2500 block of 244th Ave. SE reported someone broke into her unlocked car and stole her purse.

PROWLER:A resident in the 20800 block of SE Seventh Place reported someone prowled the victim’s unlocked car. The resident’s neighbor has surveillance footage of the incident; the footage was posted to YouTube.

RED VINES:Someone took Red Vines from an unlocked vehicle in the 21500 block of NE Sixth St.

LARCENY: Residents in the 3100 block of 220th Place SE reported someone had entered their unlocked vehicles, which were parked in the driveway, and stole a viola from inside a trunk.

LARCENY: A resident in the 3100 block of 220th Place SE reported someone took money pouches containing money from the resident’s unlocked vehicle.

FOUR MORE:Residents in the 22300 block of SE 32nd St., 700 block of 209th Ave. SE, 20700 block of SE Third Way and the 800 block of 211th Place SE reported someone ransacked their unlocked vehicles. Some reported items were missing from said vehicles.

ARREST: Police booked someone into Issaquah Jail for driving with their license suspended in the first degree in the 24000 block of SE 37th Place.

June 19

PROWL: Police responded to the 3100 block of 234th Court SE for a reported car prowl. The victim reported two male suspects walked through the neighborhood the previous night.

BROKEN: Someone shattered the rear glass window of a vehicle parked in the 20900 block of SE Eighth Place to gain access and steal items from within the car.

PUBLIC STORAGE HIT: More than 10 public storage units at 23025 NE Eighth St. were reportedly broken into; only one person reported items missing from their storage unit.

MEDS:Someone stole medications from within an unlocked vehicle in the 24600 block of SE 44th Court.

ANOTHER UNLOCKED CAR: A resident in the 22000 block of SE 32nd St. reported someone had broken into their car and stolen items.

June 20

ANOTHER PROWL:A resident in the 3100 block of 220th Place SE reported that someone prowled their unlocked vehicle but said nothing was missing.

DETONATION CORD: Someone turned over to the Eastside Fire and Rescue Station 82 at 1851 228th Ave. NE a detonation cord for disposal.

June 21

PACKAGE:A resident at the Madison Apartments at 3070 230th Lane SE reported someone had taken a package off their front porch.

June 22

SCHOOL VANDALS: Someone contacted an officer while patrolling the grounds of Beaver Lake Middle School at 25025 SE 32nd St. and showed the officer two door windows someone had broken by throwing two large rocks through them.

LARCENY: A resident in the 1200 block of 273 Place SE reported someone had broken into his unlocked car and stole his wallet.

ASSAULT:A wife reportedly struck her husband with a piece of wood, causing pain and injury in the 22900 block of SE 13 Place.

June 23

LARCENY: An unknown suspect entered several vehicles in the 800 block of 208th Ave. NE.

LOST IN TRANSLATION:Sammamish police responded to a vandalism incident in the 25000 block of SE 42nd St. An unknown person had spray painted a swastika and penis with testicles on the grass with either a smiley face or breasts above the penis.
