The Issaquah School District is inviting students enrolling in kindergarten for the 2016-2017 school year to “ride the big yellow school bus” in August.

The district is holding three ride-along events to introduce students and their parents to bus ride safety procedures.

The rides will take place the mornings of Aug. 9-11, beginning in the Issaquah High School parking lot. Families are expected to convene at 9 a.m. for children to have their photos taken. Bus rides begin at 9:30 a.m. and will last one hour.
