The haunted trail at Beaver Lake Park promises to frighten guests in Halloween style, and volunteers can clock their work as volunteer hours.

“We’d love more student help as actors, makeup artists, set designers, painters and construction workers,” said Scott Brewer, Rotary Club of Sammamish President. “What we most look for is great energy, commitment and a heart for having fun.”

The non-profit group uses the money for local and international humanitarian and community projects, including college scholarships.

All new volunteers are asked to attend one orientation class, offered 2-4 p.m., Sept. 24 and 25 from at Sammamish City Hall.

Volunteers under age 16 are encouraged to bring a parent for the meeting.
