One dead in Issaquah shooting

Update: initial investigation suggests shooting was unintentional

What is now believed to be an unintentional shooting at a ranch in Issaquah left one 23-year old man dead, Thursday, May 21.

The victim worked at the ranch, at the 26800 block of Southeast Duthie Hill Road. According to King County Sheriff’s Office, his friend called 911 telling them the victim had been shot, and began administering CPR.

After an initial investigation where King County Sheriff’s Office detectives interviewed those at the scene, the shooting is being considered unintentional.

The investigation is ongoing.
