Police bust underage house party after noise complaint | Sammamish Police Blotter Jan. 2 – Jan. 8

The blotter consists of Sammamish police officers’ accounts of crimes and other incidents in the city. Persons arrested are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.

Dec. 27

DUI: At 10:22 p.m., a woman was arrested for a DUI at the 3500 block of Sahalee Way NE. Police responded after the woman rolled her vehicle. A breath test showed a BAC level of .116.

Dec. 29

MINOR CONSUMPTION: At 1:16 a.m., police arrested an intoxicated teenage male at the 1000 block of 274 Way SE. The subject was conscious but had vomit on his clothing and was belligerent and non-compliant. He was booked into King County Jail.

Dec. 31

PARTY BUSTED: At 9:36 p.m., police responded to a report of a noise disturbance at the 1300 block of 229 Place NE. A large, underage house party was taking place, with party-goers spilling outside, being loud and setting off car alarms. Police detected the smell of alcohol and marijuana from inside the home. A 16-year-old girl was arrested for a minor in possession charge. Police informed the homeowner, who was home during the party, that she would receive an infraction for furnishing an underage gathering.

Jan. 1

DUI: At 12:29 a.m., a truck was pulled over for speeding and swerving at the 3300 block of E. Lake Sammamish Parkway SE. The driver was arrested for a DUI and blew breath samples with BAC levels of .127 and .109.

Jan. 2

IDENTITY THEFT: At 12:06 p.m., a resident of the 200 block of 211th Place NE reported an unknown suspect opened a Dish Network account in their name without their permission.

Jan. 3

STOLEN SAW: At 1:15 p.m., a carpenter at a construction site located in the 1700 block of 229th Place SE reported his new miter saw was taken from the house at the site.

SKETCHY CIRCUMSTANCES: At 2:27 p.m., a resident of the 22300 block of NE 22nd St. reported to police her son owed money to a drug dealer. She was concerned that the drug dealer would come to the home with firearms.

Jan. 4

FOUND BIKE: At 2:24 p.m., a black K2 mountain bike was found in the woods in front of Beaver Lake Middle School, located in the 25000 block of SE 32nd St.

Jan. 7

CHRISTMAS LIGHT PROJECTOR STOLEN: At 11:14 a.m., a resident of the 26800 block of SE 22nd Court reported their Christmas light projector was taken from their front yard.

Jan. 8

SPRAY-PAINTED BATHROOMS: At 8:55 a.m., a police officer conducting an area check of the Beaver Lake ball fields, located in the 2500 block of 244 Ave. SE, noticed the bathroom doors had been spray-painted.

PARKING VIOLATION: At 12:30 p.m., a vehicle at the Summerwalk Apartments that was parked in a handicap parking stall without a handicap placard or license was impounded.
