The blotter consists of Sammamish police officers’ accounts of crimes and other incidents in the city. Persons arrested are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.

Sept. 21

ARREST WARRANT: A subject was arrested on a misdemeanor warrant during a traffic stop in the 25600 block of SE Issaquah-Fall City Road.

Sept. 22

SELLING SPEAKERS: A subject was reported to be selling stereo speakers out of the back of a rental van outside of the Sammamish QFC.

Sept. 23

LICENSE REVOKED: A driver was arrested for driving with a revoked license in the 3600 block of E. Lake Sammamish Parkway NE. The driver was booked into King County Jail, while the vehicle was released to a licensed driver.

Sept. 24

ARREST WARRANT: A driver was arrested for a misdemeanor warrant during a traffic stop at Southeast 22nd Way and Trossachs Boulevard Southeast. The driver was booked into King County Jail.

Sept. 27

GARAGES ENTERED: A resident in the 27200 block of SE 27th St. reported to police someone took a garage door opener from their unlocked pickup truck. The subject then entered the garage and took items from inside. In the 1800 block of 272nd Ct SE, another resident reported an unknown suspect entered their unlocked garage and took items from their unlocked vehicle inside.

CAR PROWL: A resident in the 1000 block of 274th Place SE reported their vehicle had been broken into, with the registration and insurance card taken from the vehicle. Other valuables were left on the seat.

STOLEN CREDIT CARDS: A vehicle parked near the 4300 block of E. Lake Sammamish Parkway NE at Sammamish Landing was broken into. A laptop and purse was taken, and the stolen credit cards were used shortly after.

Sept. 28

CAR PROWL: At 7 a.m., a resident in the 23000 block of SE 45th Place reported finding his car with the door slightly ajar. An unknown suspect had entered his vehicle and taken items.

PROWL AND A POP CAN: A resident in the 4600 block of 231st Place SE reported her vehicle had been rummaged through and a pop can was left inside.

CAR PROWL: A resident in the 23800 block of SE 45th St. reported an unknown suspect entered their unlocked vehicle and took items.

CAR PROWL: An unlocked SUV was broken into in the 4500 block of 230th Way SE. Multiple items were taken, including the vehicle registration and insurance card.

Sept. 29

GRAND THEFT AUTO: A vehicle was stolen from an open garage in the 26500 block of SE 22nd St. The keys were left inside the vehicle.

WRONG PLATES, NO LICENSE: A subject driving a vehicle with switched license plates in the 4600 block of 238th Way SE was arrested for driving with a suspended license and operating a vehicle without an ignition interlock device. They were booked into Issaquah Jail.

Oct. 2

BREAKING AND TAKING: At 3:31 a.m., two unknown suspects broke into a vehicle in the 2400 block of 248th Place NE and then fled in the vehicle.
