Police seek lottery thief

Shortly after 6:45 p.m. Jan. 14, a man was reported to have fled from the 76 gas station on East Lake Sammamish Parkway Southeast after allegedly stealing $210 of lottery tickets.

Detectives are seeking the public’s help in identifying a man who tried to game the lottery via theft.

Shortly after 6:45 p.m. Jan. 14, a man was reported to have fled from the 76 gas station on East Lake Sammamish Parkway Southeast after allegedly stealing $210 of lottery tickets.

Issaquah police say he was then seen minutes later cashing the tickets in at the Safeway on Gilman Boulevard.

The suspect is described as a white man, 5 feet, 10 inches to 6 feet tall with short brown hair. In surveillance video from the incident, he was seen wearing a brown leather jacket, black pants and blue shoes.
