On Thursday, Jan. 28, the Providence Marianwood will present a workshop on “How to Preserve Family History through Photo Restoration and Repair.”

This free event is sponsored by the Providence Marianwood Foundation and will be held at Providence Marianwood, 3725 Providence Point Drive SE., Issaquah, between 5 and 6 p.m.

A photo restoration and retouch expert will illustrate typical damage suffered by cherished photos and vintage documents, damage that includes tears, fading, discoloration and aging, and will explain how restoration preserves your family’s heritage for children and grandchildren.
