Sammamish holiday lighting ceremony set Nov. 28

Sammamish will hold its annual holiday lighting ceremony from 5:30-6:30 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 28 outside of City Hall.

 

Sammamish will hold its annual holiday lighting ceremony from 5:30-6:30 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 28 outside of City Hall. The event will include performances by local choral groups, cookie decorating for kids, reindeer fire truck tours, a 38,000-pound decorated recycling truck and festive refreshments.

Later, family fun will be offered when Charlie “The Noiseguy” Williams hosts the sound adventure, “The Noisiest Toy.” The event, which is sponsored by the City of Sammamish and the Sammamish Youth Board, begins at 7 p.m. in the Sammamish Library. The event is suitable for families and children ages 5 and older. No registration is required.
