The Issaquah School District (ISD) is exploring the option of developing a pilot preschool program at Grand Ridge Elementary School.

The ISD is hoping to hear from parents of preschool aged children to get an idea of the need for and interest in pre-school services within the district. Parents with children five years old or younger are urged to take the survey at www.zoomerang.com/Survey/WEB22A38KMS5WN

Research shows that children benefit greatly from interacting with peers and adults, learning through play, and developing social skills and academic behaviors before entering kindergarten.

The survey will close at noon on January 25.
