Seattle Seahawk’s linebacker Leroy Hill was arrested Tuesday night, January 29, by Issaquah police on charges of domestic violence, including unlawful imprisonment and assault.

Issaquah police Chief Paul Ayers said Issaquah police responded to a call from Hill’s Talus home near Cougar Ridge Drive Northwest around 4 p.m.  After an investigation, Hill was arrested around 10 p.m.

The 26-year-old female victim was transported to Swedish Medical Center in Issaquah and released. She reported that Hill was her boyfriend and that he assaulted her several times during the day and kept her in his home against her will. She stated that Hill blocked the doorway and would not allow her to leave the residence and took her cell phone. The woman was reportedly able to escape the residence when Hill used the bathroom.

Ayers said Hill was taken to the Issaquah City Jail, but was being transported to the King County Jail Wednesday since the charges – which include unlawful imprisonment/domestic violence, as well as third-degree assault/domestic violence, are felonies.

This is the second time Hill has been arrested for domestic violence at his home in Issaquah. The last time was in 2010, but charges were dismissed. Ayers said he believes Hill is on probation stemming from charges in Georgia.
