Regional Animal Services of King County will team up with “pet detective” Kat Albrecht of Missing Pet Partnership to offer a Lost Cat Behavior seminar.

The seminar will examine the science of finding lost cats by studying where they tend to go, how they behave when lost, and how they can be found. The seminar will include case studies of cats that were lost and recovered, some under remarkable circumstances.

The seminar will from 7-8:30 p.m. Aug. 15 at the Pet Adoption Center, 21615 64th Ave. S. in Kent. There is no charge to attend, but pre-registration is required. To register for the seminar, call 206-296-3946 or email volunteer manager Sarah Luthens at sarah.luthens@kingcounty.gov.
