Seven from Issaquah area high schools to receive scholarships

Seven students from Issaquah high schools will be honored April 28 by the Issaquah Chapter of the American Association of University Women's scholarship recognition program.

 

Seven students from Issaquah high schools will be honored April 28 by the Issaquah Chapter of the American Association of University Women’s scholarship recognition program.

The seven plan to attend college and major in programs representing science, technology, engineering or math.

The students are:

Liberty High School – Sarah Hewitt (math), Shayna Waldbaun (science) and Kelsey Canaga (technology);

Issaquah High School – Issabelle Chu (mathematics) and Sarah Hanna (science);

Skyline High School – Amy Fan (mathematics) and Talia Suner (science).

The event will be at 7 p.m. in the King County Library Services Center, 960 Newport Way, Issaquah.
