A 17-year-old Skyline High School student was drug along during a Craigslist sale gone awry March 6.

The Sammamish teen met three high school-aged boys traveling in a blue Saturn Ion around 7:45 p.m. in the 1300 block of 225th Place Southeast. The teen hoped to sell his iPhone 6, valued at $350.

When the barefooted teen handed the driver the phone, the vehicle started to move forward. The teen latched onto the car, which began dragging him through the neighborhood.

The teen asked the driver to slow down, as he was losing his grip on the driver’s door frame. The vehicle slowed and the teen let go. The driver sped off.

The Skyline student incurred several scrapes to his feet and a 3-inch bruise on his left armpit, but he declined medical aid.

The victim described the driver as a Hispanic male, slightly chubby and with a thin beard and the front passenger as an Asian male with a thin build. The victim didn’t get a good look at the back seat passenger, but thought he had a chubby build with black hair.
