Seattle Police are investigating a possible connection between an early morning shooting on Friday and the July 17 shootings at Lake Sammamish State Park.

The Seattle PI is reporting that an 18-year-old man was shot in the face around 3 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 17 at a lower-floor apartment in the 2500 block of 29th Avenue South. While the article states that the police are looking into whether the two shootings are connected, there is no explanation as to why they think this latest attack could be related to the Lake Sammamish State Park shooting.

Police did say that they believe the victim was specifically targeted, and they are looking for two Asian men in their late teens or early 20s.
