Issaquah City Council is holding a special city council meeting to debate and gain testimony regarding a proposed bag ban April 30.
The meeting is in Council Chambers, 135 Sunset Way, at 7 p.m.
Anyone interested will have the opportunity to speak for or against the proposed law.
The ordinance would ban certain types of the plastic bags, mainly those used for groceries, and impose a 5 cent fee on paper bags. The law is similar to what Seattle has now.
