The Issaquah City Council approved an ordinance that would standardize all school and playground zones speed limits.

The new limit is now 20 miles per hour between the hours of 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. on days when school is in session.

New signs will be posted in the zones. The changes were approved at Monday’s meeting.
