Jan. 10

Concealing lipstick and concealer: A person stole $512 in personal care items from the QFC on Klahanie Drive Southeast. The thief entered through the store’s floral entrance and stole the items by concealing them in her purse.

Jan. 13

Craig’s fraudulent list: A resident of 252nd Avenue Southeast reported that he had been victimized by a a scam on Craigslist. A person selling a 2014 Ford Explorer on the site did not deliver the vehicle after the purchase agreement was made.

Jan. 14

Beary bad behavior: A Kirkland resident reported at 5:45 p.m. that her vehicle had been broken into while parked on 228th Lane Southeast. The front passenger window had been passed and her purse was stolen. The woman’s debit card had later been used at a Brown Bear Car Wash and a Walmart in Renton.

Jan. 15

Moving out of mom and dad’s basement: A man stayed at his parents’ house on Northeast 20th Place after being asked to leave for 45 minutes. At 10:19 p.m., police came to the house and arrested the man for violation of a protection order and booked him into Issaquah Jail.

Jan. 16

Pot-tery class: It was reported at 1:33 p.m. that a student at Skyline High School had tried to make a ceramic bong in art class.

Jan. 17

Teenage hormones: Sexual contact was made between a 19-year-old and a 16-year-old in the bedroom of a residence on Southeast 39th Court.

Jan. 19

Hugs not drugs: Narcotic activity was reported at the Summerwalk Apartments on Klahanie Drive Southeast at 4:44 p.m. by an anonymous source.
