Aug. 2

VANDALISM: Several windows were shattered, but still intact, and a flood light was damaged to a city-owned building located at the 100 block of 228th Ave. NE. The reporting party stated the damage occurred between July 17 and July 24 and that it appeared the damage was caused by a pellet gun. Police reported damages of $2,700.

Aug. 14

VANDALISM: An unknown suspect used multiple landscaping bricks to break windows inside the four exterior opening doors at Eastlake High School. Police reported over $1500 worth of damage was caused.

Aug. 15

CIVIL STANDBY: Deputies were requested to facilitate a civil standby at the 300 block of 207 Ave. NE while a man obtained his belongings from his home while his wife was at the residence. A temporary No-Contact order was in place between the husband and wife.

Aug. 16

CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE VIOLATION: A female subject was arrested for a misdemeanor warrant near the 2200 block of 273 Ct. SE. Police found meth and heroin in a vehicle search, and also found on the subject another person’s driver’s license, BECU card and passport card.

Aug. 17

SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES: A resident at the 500 block of 240 Ave. SE reported an unknown person had been ringing their door bell. Three days earlier, an unknown male walked up to the door but did not ring the bell.

Aug. 18

WARRANT ARREST: A subject was arrested in the QFC parking lot at the 4500 block of Klahanie Dr. SE after a search warrant led to police finding 5 grams of meth, 1 gram of heroin, a meth pipe and a scale.

BUSINESS LICENSE: An ice cream truck selling popsicles and ice cream along Southeast 44th Street in Klahanie was issued a warning after operating without a Sammamish business license.

VANDALISM: Police responded to reports of vandalism to a storm drain pond located at the 2000 block of 251 Pl. SE. Police reported damages to be over $1500.

THEFT: The passenger-side window of a vehicle listed to the 1400 block of W. Beaver Lake Dr. SE was smashed and items were taken from the automobile.

SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES: A police officer was dispatched to a report of a prowl in progress at the 22700 block of SE 23 Pl. Police reported a white male wearing a jersey of some kind may have been casing houses.

Aug. 19

VANDALISM: An unknown subject threw two three-inch landscaping rocks at a garage door and a parked vehicle, causing damage to both, at a private residence at the 22300 block of NE 28th St. Police reported the damage to be under $1500.

VANDALISM: An unknown subject threw a concrete rock through a window at Blackwell Elementary, located at the 3200 block of 205 Pl. NE, causing the window to shatter. Police reported the damage to be under $1500.

THEFT: Police responded to a report of larceny at the 3800 block of E. Lake Sammamish Pkwy NE. The victim reported packages had been stolen from his front door.

Aug. 20

CAR PROWL: Several items were stolen from an unlocked Black Ford Explorer at the 400 block of 213 Pl. SE, including garage door openers and an extra vehicle key.

Aug. 21

BURGLARY: An overnight burglary occurred at the 2400 block of 200 Ave. SE while the homeowners were away. The suspect broke in through the living room window by removing the air conditioner. A laptop, Coach purses and a Lincoln welder were stolen.
