A rollover of a Seattle tanker truck has closed both directions of Interstate 5 between the Interstate 90 interchange and West Seattle Bridge.
The rollover has caused significant congestion through downtown Seattle. The Washington State Department of Transportation reports there is currently no estimated reopening time and a long-term closure is expected.
Drivers should expect lengthy delays and are encouraged to use alternate routes.
