Noisy bar, child locked in car, boys fighting, failed suicide attempt.

Issaquah

June 8

Dognapping?: An officer stood by while a woman attempted to reclaim her dog from dog “Show” person in the 2200 Block of Northeast Marion Lane. Knocking and ringing the doorbell yielded no response. The officer left and the dog owner planned to try again.

Reckless driver: A reckless driver was reported near Northwest Gilman Boulevard. Callers said the driver appeared to be sick and vomiting out window while driving 70 mph. Police were unable to locate the vehicle.

June 9

Suspicious people: An officer was called about a gypsy family near Fred Meyer asking people for money. No gypsies were seen.

June 10

Car trouble: An officer damaged a driver’s side door while attempting to open it in the 100 block of Front Street due to child being inside the vehicle. The officer filled out a property damage liability form and explained the situation to the owners, who said they understood.

Boys fighting: A 12- and 13-year-old got in an argument and started pushing each other. An officer contacted both boys and their parents, who wanted to handle the issue privately. Both boys apologized to each other.

June 11

Senior party: A noisy party was reported in the 4400 block of East Lake Sammamish Parkway. The party was being held for Liberty High School seniors and approximately 50 vehicles on the property. The students turned the music down.

June 12

Arson in bathroom: An arson was reported in the bathroom at the Shell station at in the 1600 block of Northwest Gilman. The suspect is a 8- to 11-year-old male. No injuries were suffered. A King County arson investigator responded.

June 13

Noisy place: Officers contacted several subjects on the back deck of the H and H Tavern on Front Street North and advised them to to go inside or to lower their voices. The bar manager was also contacted and stated she would monitor it. Officers were sent to the business again due to loud noise coming from the rear door. This is the third time officers were called to the business.

Sammamish

May 31

Suicide fail: A Sammamish resident attempted to commit suicide by overdosing on multiple pills, but was unsuccessful. The female was involuntarily committed to Swedish Medical Center.

Naked and confused: An elderly Sammamish man was found walking down 228th in his underwear. Police say he was confused and didn’t know where he was, or that he was in his underwear. The man was returned home safely.

June 3

Parking spot debacle: A Sammamish resident pulled into a parking space directly in front of the Pine Lake QFC when another female immediately started pounding on the windows, voicing her displeasure with the driver for pulling into the spot. The driver went into the store and when she came out her car had been keyed.

June 4

Traffic complaint: A woman called police to report multiple vehicles speeding past her house near Southeast 8th Street and at the end of the cul de sac for the past month. Officers said they would patrol the area more frequently.
