Beginning Feb. 15, Sammamish motorists should expect delays at the intersection of 244th Avenue SE and NE 8th Street, as storm drain work limits traffic to a single travel lane.

Additionally, girder delivery for the bridge begins Feb. 22, and will result in significant delays for morning traffic. Priority will be given to buses. Parents are encouraged to utilize the school bus system at least through March 5 to reduce congestion and delays.

Utility pole and overhead utility relocation will also continue at NE 8th through March.

Wall construction continues between NE 3rd Place and 245th Place NE Way. Expect one-way traffic during work hours until Feb. 26.

Street lamp replacement and relocation south of NE 3rd Place begins Feb. 15.
