May 6
FORGED PRESCRIPTIONS: At 5:27 p.m. in the 4500 block of Klahanie Drive SE, the suspect used fraudulent prescriptions at a pharmacy.
May 8
RECKLESS DRIVING: At 5:16 a.m. in the 2500 block of SE Klahanie Blvd., a motorist drove at a high speed through the complex before colliding with the building and parked vehicles.

RASH OF CAR PROWLS: At 7:40 a.m. in the 1800 block of W. Beaver Lake, someone found a purple backpack alongside of West Beaverlake Drive Southeast after a rash of overnight car prowls.
WINDOW PUNCH: At 5 a.m. in the 2600 block of 22nd Place SE, police arrived on scene and met with a man, who wanted to report that someone broke into his niece’s vehicle. The suspect broke the window and stole an item from the back.

POT-SMOKING CAMPERS: At 11:30 a.m. in the 3800 block of 212th Ave. SE, a resident called 911 to report an encampment that she and her neighbor discovered during their walk along a common wooded trail-way, south of their dead end housing development. She said there was evidence at the encampment of marijuana smoking.

BACK IN THE SADDLE: At 12:30 p.m. in the 2200 block of 275th Court SE, the victim came into the Sammamish police station to report a fraudulent transaction that she was the victim of when she tried to sell a saddle using TackTrader.com. The suspect used unauthorized checks to buy the saddle, then requested the money back from the over-payment. Her total loss was $976, however, she still retained the saddle. The suspect also later attempted to obtain a credit card using the victim’s information.
ASSAULT: At 12:04 p.m. in the 1700 block of 233rd Place NE, the suspect pushed and grabbed the victim, who complained of pain. Police arrested the suspected for assault and booked him into the Issaquah Jail.
BURGLARY: At 7:18 a.m. in the 23700 block of NE 23rd Place, suspects entered a residence through the garage and stole two high-end bikes and a laptop computer.
METH MADNESS: At 12:01 p.m. at 801 228th Ave. SE, a passerby advised the front desk employees at the Sammamish Police Department that an unknown male was in front of the station on the sidewalk, yelling obscenities and acting suspicious. A police officer contacted the male, who police said was possibly overdosing on methamphetamine.
May 12
UNWELCOME GUEST: At 8:52 a.m. in the 4400 block of 249th Terrace SE, a man found his ex-girlfriend’s new boyfriend inside the man’s residence. He requested that police trespass the new boyfriend as an unwanted guest.
IRS ‘WARRANT’: At 6:19 p.m. in the 23800 block of NE 23rd Place, the victim wired a total of $10,000 to multiple bank accounts after a scammer told him the IRS had a warrant for him.
May 14
FOLLOW THE PAPER TRAIL: At 7:35 a.m. in the 1900 block of 236th Ave. NE, an unknown suspect entered the victim’s unlocked work van in the driveway and stole various items. The victim found some paperwork from the van a few doors down on the sidewalk.
