Walk’n Wag returns to Lake Sammamish State Park

All proceeds will benefit improvements and beautification projects for Lake Sammamish State Park.

Walk’n Wag, the biggest pet centric event on the Eastside is back! Dogs, friends of dogs and spectators are invited to the 6th Annual Walk’n Wag at Lake Sammamish State Park, Sunday, October 10 from 11am-3pm. The event is presented by Alpine Animal Hospital.

The event kicks off with a “3K Walk in the Park” to benefit Friends of Lake Sammamish State Park. After the walk, attendees are invited to participate in the Pet Show, try out an Agility Course, learn about obedience training and enjoy a beer with live music by Sweet Lou’s Sour Mash in our Dru Bru Beer Garden.

Pet show categories include Best Dressed, Best Voice, Smallest Dog, Best Eyes, Dog and Owner Look-alike, and Best Trick. Sign up at www.lakesammamishfriends.org/events

Vendors will be set up in the Doggie Village to share information, services, and giveaways with pet owners. Walkers without dogs are welcome to visit Doggie Village as well. Michael’s Subaru of Bellevue will be partnering with Homeward Pet Adoption Center for Subaru Loves Pets Month to provide information about adoptions. Many of the attractions at Walk’n Wag are free and open to the public.

Early bird registration for the 3K or Pet Show is $15 for Adults, $10 for Children 15 years and under, and FREE for Children under 5 years. To register, visit lakesammamishfriends.org. Registration will also be available at the event.
