The 2012 campaign train will stop July 19th at the historic Issaquah Train Depot to benefit GOP legislative candidates.
“Weʼre hosting a fun time to meet the candidates for the state house and senate in an informal setting,” said co-chairs Nadine Gulit and Joan Crecca. “With all three seats currently occupied by Republicans, itʼs important that we show our support for Chad Magendanz, Rep. Jay Rodne for the house and Brad Toft for the state Senate.
In addition, newly appointed state Sen. Dino Rossi, State GOP Chairman Kirby Wilbur and King County GOP Chair Lori Sotelo will address the gathering.
“This is a most-important election for the 5th District. For the first time in many years, the state of Washington can also influence the presidential election and select a new governor. With two of our 5th District positions in play, we expect an overflow crowd.”
Tickets can be purchased by emailing scourser01@centurytel.net or calling 425-888-2217. The Issaquah Train Station is located at 50 Rainier Blvd. North, in Issaquah.
The new 5th Legislative District includes Issaquah, Maple Valley, Black Diamond, Carnation, Fall City, Snoqualmie, and North Bend through Snoqualmie Pass.
