YWCA low income housing builder selected

The YWCA has selected Walsh Construction to be the builder for the YWCA Family Village in the Issaquah Highlands. The Family Village will include 150 new apartments and townhomes ranging in size from studios to three bedrooms.

The YWCA has selected Walsh Construction to be the builder for the YWCA Family Village in the Issaquah Highlands.

The Family Village will include 150 new apartments and townhomes ranging in size from studios to three bedrooms.

All of the units will be low income housing.

The site will also feature a support services center, which will host parenting classes, job training, computer education and other job- and home-oriented services.

Construction is expected take place in 2010, and families will be moving in in 2011.
