David Bruce Sarver passed away peacefully on January 15, 2020 in Seattle, WA just before his 81st birthday on February 1st.
Preceded in death by parents and first wife Jane. He is survived by wife Maxine, son Evan, and daughter Valerie.
David was head of the tax department and partner at Laventhol & Horwath in Mpls for 14 years. Prior to that, he contributed to writing the Illinois tax code. The family left Mpls in 1988 for CA where David ran a private family office. David loved the outdoors, especially trout fishing. He was a steady force to many families for tax and financial advice. He was a loving husband and father.
No funeral is planned, per David’s wishes. Donations to David’s favorite organizations are welcome: Trout Unlimited and The Nature Conservancy.
