Elisabeth Magdalena Sato

Resided in: Sammamish, WA since 1995. Elisabeth Sato of Sammamish passed away on February 28, 2010 at Providence Marianwood nursing home. She was 82. Elisabeth was born on March 26, 1927 in Sandhausen, Germany. She married Jack Sato on July 29, 1954 in Heidelberg Germany. Elisabeth and Jack met in post-war Germany where Jack was stationed in the US army. After marriage, Elisabeth moved to this country with Jack and became a US citizen. Elisabeth was a devoted wife and mother to her four children. She is remembered as a very generous person who loved being with her family. She was fond of sewing and craftwork and traveled extensively. Elisabeth is survived by her husband, Jack Sato of Sammamish, WA; daughters: Evelyn Peters (husband Kriss) of Graham, WA; Sibylle Horvath (husband Larry) of Crown Point, IN, and Kay Soukup (husband Ron) of Sammamish, WA. Elisabeth leaves behind five grand-children and four great grandchildren. Elisabeth’s son Marc predeceased her in 1995.
