I am the program manager of the Issaquah Schools Foundation’s Cultural Bridges for Education Program and I will vote yes for the bond on April 26.

When my husband’s company moved us to the state of Washington, the first thing I did was look at the computer to find the best public schools in the area and the response brought Issaquah School District. Here we have not only found a good education, but also a community that made us feel welcome and safe.

I hope that this feeling will continue and can be shared with other families who are or wish to settle in this city. But to achieve this we need the construction and modernization of schools, where our children can have a proper physical environment for learning.
