The Blue Jays baseball team, which is part of Eastlake Little League, captured first place at the at the end of the year “Majors”tournament on June 2. The Blue Jays finished the 2016 season with an overall record of 23-5.

The team was coached by Dave Johnson, Mark DerGarabedian, David Baker and Joel Wiljanen. The team roster consisted ofNick Donato, Hunter Doud, Nick Crowder, Kai Lane, Jackson Andrews, Keegan DeGarabedian, Bryce Johnson, Luke Wiljanen,Colin Baker, Colby March, James Boone and Ryan Mosca.
