The Eastside Catholic Crusaders football team defeated the Union Titans 26-10 in a non-league contest on Sept. 16 in Vancouver. Eastside Catholic (3-0) will host Seattle Prep at 7 p.m. on Sept. 23 at Eastside Catholic School in Sammamish.

Eagles capture first win of 2016 season

The Issaquah Eagles cruised to a 40-7 win against the Inglemoor Vikings in their first home game of the 2016 season on Sept. 16 at Gary Moore Stadium in Issaquah. The Eagles (1-2) will face the Mount Si Wildcats at 7 p.m. on Sept. 23 in Snoqualmie.

The Eastside Catholic Crusaders earned their third consecutive victory courtesy of a 3-0 win against West Seattle on Sept. 15.

The Eastlake Wolves earned a 3-0 win against the Garfield Bulldogs on Sept. 15.

Skyline earns fourth win

The Skyline Spartans improved their overall record to 4-0 with a 3-2 win against the Arlington Eagles on Sept. 13.

The Issaquah Eagles defeated Hazen 3-0 on Sept. 15. The Eagles (3-0) will face the Garfield Bulldogs at 7 p.m. on Sept. 28 in Seattle.

Local team to host fundraiser

The Bellevue Blast 16U girls fastpitch organization is holding a fundraiser on Oct. 15 at the Redmond Assembly of God Church, which is located at 16601 NE 95th St. in Redmond. The fundraiser will take place from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Money raised will help pay for the team’s travel tournaments.
